Join Sutho for the 2026 Season

Overview

To register to play for Sutherland District Hockey Club (Sutho) in the 2026 Winter Season, you need to complete two online registrations and make two payments in two separate processes (referred to as Part A and Part B below):

Part A – Club Registration: Sutho, and

Part B – Sydney South Hockey Association (SSHA), for registration with Hockey NSW (HNSW)
and Hockey Australia (HA).

Part A – to register with Sutho

2025 Returning Players

Returning players from the 2025 season will be emailed a link from Registrar (Sutherland Hockey Club) that will open the online registration form with many details already pre-filled. If you are looking for that email, make sure you check your Spam or Promotions, as it will save you time.

  • Pre-filled data for returning players needs to be checked and updated as required, and the other data fields completed
  • Next, you can prepay for Sutho uniforms
  • Proceed to payment

All New or Pre-2025 Returning Players

New players click REGISTER HERE to go to the registration page to complete the Club Registration
● Complete all required fields
● Next, you can prepay for Sutho uniforms (they will be collected at the club later)
● Junior players who have not played with Sutho previously are eligible for a discount on 2026 Sutho club fees. Apply the discount code in the registration form or contact registrar@sutho.com.au for info.

Part A completion: Confirmation of 2026 Rego with Sutho

Finally, you will receive an email from Sutho to confirm your 2026 Winter Season registration.

You will be directed to the Part B – SSHA Registrations page on completion of your Sutho online registration.

Essential Payments –

All HNSW, SSHA & HA fees (Part B) must be paid in full for players to take the field in all competitions.

Part B – Association Rego

The next step is to register with Sydney South Hockey Association (SSHA), Hockey NSW (HNSW) and Hockey Australia (HA)

All players are required to register with an association, each season. Association registration confirms that a person is eligible to participate in a competition as an insured player. Sutho is within the Sydney South Hockey Association region; the link for their registration is CLICK HERE

Returning Players

Returning 2025 players click on RETURNING MEMBER

  • Enter your HNSW Member ID, Date of Birth and Last Name.
  • Press the Submit Registration button
  • Pay HNSW, SSHA and HA fees with a Credit Card to complete the process

New Players

New players click on NEW MEMBER

  • Enter your details in the fields specified
  • Select your Registration type from the drop-down menu
  • Enter your details in the fields specified
  • Press the Submit Registration button
  • Pay HNSW, SSHA and HA fees with a Credit Card to complete the process

Completion of Part B: Confirmation of 2026 Rego with SSHA, HNSW & HA
Finally, you will receive an email from Sutho to confirm your Hockey NSW Member ID.

Dual Registrant / Primary Association other than Sydney South:

Following the link on the SSHA Registrations page will recognise if you are a dual registrant and have already paid your HNSW fees through your primary association. Proof of payment of HNSW, Association and HA fees for 2026 must be emailed to registrar@sutho.com.au.
