Sutho Masters enjoying the moment
Sutherland masters had a great weekend at their State Championships, taking the title unbeaten and picking up a strong level of NSW representation for the nationals in September/October.
Congratulations to NSW representatives:
- Over 65-1: David Campbell (c), Glenn Crowhurst (GK), Robert Redding, Clive Harrison and Manager Michael McKenzie
- Over 65-2: Peter Hayes (c), Mark Hillier, John Hol, John Ross and Manager Christine Hayes, and
- Over 70: Ray Northwood (v-c) and Noel French.
Their selections came on the back of a very strong Sydney pre-season warm-up, in which the Masters league team won their competition undefeated.
This was certainly a fine preparation for the over 65s team going through undefeated at the State Championship.
